Everything (every software on earth) gets hacked by someone

There is nothing really that cannot be hacked by someone. But, here's the thing. Some people hack to see if they can do it and for the challenge of it and then leave whatever they are doing alone. This is one type of hacker. So, it could reasonable be said that absolutely every software on earth has been already hacked by someone somewhere for some purpose.

For example, the U.S. government itself may have hacked the New York Stock exchange, United and anyone else that went down today. So, they would have been worried about Chinese or Russian or mafia types of hackers and hacked all this themselves to protect or to test our Internet and software in various places. But, they wouldn't have told us they did this for a variety of reasons too.

IF you listen to what is going on in cyberspace lately after the attack on the U.S. Government by the Chinese that compromised all the Social security numbers and likely credit cards of everyone working for the government, you can see that our government is scrambling right now because we tend to have more information out there on everyone here in the U.S. than any other country on earth, which is both a very good thing in some respects but during a war potentially a very fatal thing for our country as well.

So, just remember every software on earth gets hacked by someone. It just depends what their motivations are in the short or long term.
