After reading the last article it looks like Russia looked at air drone technology and decided to build a nuclear weapon submarine/torpedo drone so it would be undetectable and scoot along the floor of the ocean undectable mostly until it destroyed a nations Seacoast with so much radiation that no one could live there. For example, if one hit the U.S. on the West Coast and the East coast in Between San Francisco and Los Angeles it would render all of coastal California uninhabitable. The same thing targeting Washington DC or New York City on the East Coast.
What is wrong with this thinking?
Basically, the government moves to Colorado Springs or other locations, doomsday weapons are sent off and the offending country (and likely the whole world too) ceases to exist forever.
So, here we have it. Drone technology combined with nuclear weapons on board whether by air or sea or land that then goes autonomous (when it goes there no one can turn it back) could yet signal the end of earth and all life upon it.
