This series has been one of two that has intrigued me this fall. There are always the old Standbys like "Agents of Shield" (a spinoff from Iron Man Movie and others) that my wife and I watch and another one my wife likes "Once upon a time" that I sometimes watch with her. But, for me, the Bastard Executioner and "Fargo" have been the most interesting new series for me personally.

I don't like horror at all because I'm already an intuitive so I don't like the way horror movies mess with my subconscious. I prefer to be in control and not be a victim of psychic rape on any level at all.

But, series like "The Bastard Executioner" which is based upon Ventrishire from the 1400s in England in Wales is interesting on multiple levels because of the way it is done. Sometimes I fast forward (I DVR it before I watch it) with my TIVO parts that are too gross to watch but other than that I find the series very interesting.

Spoiler Alert! If you haven't seen the previous episode and plan to don't read this following!

On this episode they are going to get this French Guy who is having an affair with the King (or who had an affair with the King) who also appears to be French.

He has pissed off so many people including Ventrishires Chamberlain that he is doomed basically. So, the executioner and his brother are brought along to help the soldiers get this guy. The remaining Hot female twin that wasn't tortured to death by the Chamberlain to find out where the French lord was hiding, goes along for the ride. But, she makes the mistake of getting the half wit to cut her bindings on the wagon and she stupidly runs away when no one is watching.

This half wit thinks of her like one of the deer or sheep he has affairs with. He likes how they don't talk back or lie to him. So, at the end you realize he cut off her hands and feet and kept them after having sex with her because her head is separated and facing upward while her body is facing downward with feet and hands off.

Before this you thought the half wit was only a problem regarding affairs with sheep and deer. But, now you know he has some serious problems and no real boundaries at all regarding female anything including humans. So, he goes from this sort of sweet half wit that humps sheep to somebody really scary at this point in the series.

However, I guess from his point of view this woman lied to him and therefore deserved to die.

So, in some ways nothing is exactly what it appears to be. For example, you learn in this episode that the "Seraphim" healer is actually the executioners mother that didn't raise him because she was a Nun that gave birth to him at that time.

So, this puts a new spin on everything. But, I still don't understand why her Knight Templar with the burned off face killed the executioners wife and unborn child?

This hasn't made any sense to me so far unless it was to get him together with the Baroness so he could father her male child which both his "Mother?" and he have foreseen through visions.
