What is Maitreya?

I just thought I would put "Maitreya Buddha" into Google Images and here is what came up. Maitreya Buddha people have been waiting for a lot like people wait for the 2nd coming of Christ. They have been Waiting for Maitreya Buddha since Guatama Buddha arrived about 2500 years ago, 500 years before Christ. In fact, I see Jesus the Christ as having learned from Buddha Compassion and translating it into Forgiveness which was needed then and now in the Middle East. Jesus' teachings are the opposite of "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" by the way.

Forgiveness is what has allowed Western Civilization to prosper when many other civilizations didn't.

This is the primary component of the success of Western Civilization Forgiveness and Christian Brotherhood.

To me, Maitreya Buddha is both the coming Buddha AND the 2nd Coming of Christ all rolled into one. As an intuitive this is what I experience around Maitreya Buddha. I also experience that I am connected to Maitreya Buddha's heaven realm which is also a very powerful experience 24 hours a day.
