For people that have lived the longest and been the happiest in life this appears to be the best rule.
Then overlayed on top of that is: "Find friends of like mind and live near them somewhere beautiful that you love."
When people tell me that they are going to relocate somewhere for a company for example, I think "Wow! What a dead end future they likely are going to have!"
Unless where you choose to live is in your heart of hearts early death often results just from going where your company tells you too.
The more love and joy accompanying your decisions in life the longer you will tend to live.
The better diet and better friends you have the longer you will tend to live.
The better the choice of mate or significant other the longer you will tend to live.
The more you understand yourself and others the longer you will tend to live.
LIfe is never perfect and to expect it to be is going to kill you more than anything else.
But, it can be close to perfect every single day so to work for that internally and externally will increase your lifespan significantly.
