Why?
Because we have already depleted fish stocks worldwide to the point where they might not ever recover.
In addition to this when you deplete fish stocks there are not enough fish to eat the jellyfish to keep them in smaller enough numbers not to be so many (in the millions) where they kill baby fish with jelly fish tentacles ongoing. So, the cycle just gets worse and worse worldwide because of this.
Not enough fish to eat the jellyfish, then jellyfish killing baby fish then more jellyfish because no adult fish to eat the jellyfish so this is happening worldwide now.
Also, jellyfish have no brain but just drift on the winds around the world and wash up on shores around the world. So, this likely will just get worse and worse now over time various places worldwide.
Since many people depend upon fish to not only eat but it is also many people's livelihood. Then there is the other aspect of Sea Lions, Sharks and dolphins and Killer whales and whales who also some of them eat fish. So then, fishermen might kill these upper end predators more and more in order so they eat less fish. So, we are now entering a dangerous time trying to keep all life forms in the seas of the world alive with the fisheries so out of balance worldwide.
