Why Boys are much more likely to commit suicide than girls

The reason might be simpler than you think.

First, boys have testosterone which is good if you want your family defended from predators or protecting the children of the family from marauders or defending the family in all sorts of situations.

However, testosterone is difficult to deal with in a whole lot of different ways too.

So, I would say it is testosterone that causes males to kill not only themselves but also each other and sometimes girls or women or children as well.

So, you have this thing that is good for defending the family or tribe or nation if it is channeled correctly but in other situations might be completely counterproductive if not channeled for the betterment of the family, tribe or nation.

So, if boys go off in the wrong direction in life often times they cannot be rescued because of testosterone too which might cause them to self destruct.

Women cannot fully understand what testosterone does to a person unless maybe they received regular testosterone shots and even then it might be difficult for a women to understand what it is like to grow up from a baby dealing with the hormonal changes from a boy to a man and what that actually does in real life to a person.

The other reason suicide is more of a problem for males than for females is how men are treated all over the world.

Women almost always are cared for unless they are so bat shit crazy that they are violent and then often you see women like this on the streets and homeless.

But, men often are not trusted (of any race) because they have either gotten into drugs or are violent or have been criminals and these men wind up on the streets and have to live like animals temporarily or permanently. And this happens worldwide too.

So, the men who survive best are those who get married and have children and raise these children to adulthood. Boys and men who don't do this are often the ones who commit suicide sooner or later.

You can sort of watch the trajectory of boy's and men's lives and if their lives veer into drugs or violence or both then often you will see these boys or men commit suicide either directly or by accident by being careless in some way.
