I'm not exactly sure why companies are doing what they are doing?
But, maybe it's because some bloggers worldwide might misrepresent them in ways the authors or companies don't want.
I prefer to share EXACTLY what articles are saying but possibly there are many bloggers misquoting because their points of view are just too extreme for anyone.
For me, this is not ethical but for others maybe they have no base reality whatsoever. This likely could be true of younger bloggers who have a lot of knowledge about the Internet and HTML and Artificial intelligence but not much experience in the real world.
But, I don't try to misrepresent articles that I quote or compile. I prefer a more strait forward approach of honoring the authors of whatever they are writing by quoting them exactly.
After all, I'm a writer too so I tend to honor the writings of other authors too so I tend to share things exactly as they publish them.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
