Depending upon what's going on it's either a dream world, an adventure or a horror movie or it's science fiction depending upon your point of view. But, if you are someone like me: It's the future of this century in a strange sort of way.
Could Westworld robots already be among us?
Yes. on a Spy level they likely are already here from Russia, the U.S. and China and Germany and England and other nations. But, they wouldn't stand out at this point because governments wouldn't want them to be discovered. That's the problem for them (to be discovered that they are using biological robots to do things).
But, in a way, they already can order biological humans to do anything they want to and then give them amnesiacs so no one knows what they did.
So, in a way you don't have to build robots when you can completely wipe people's memories of days, weeks months or years just like UFOs have done since earth began.
