regarding the previous article on Lake Manasarovar in Tibet

Lake Manasarovar is a lake sacred to many religions including the Tibetan Buddhists who see this lake as a very special divination place. The Tibetan Lamas I studied with in the 1980s and 1990s in the U.S. , India and Nepal spoke of this place with an awe and reverence. I have never been there but the way they spoke of it I knew I wanted to go there someday if I could.

partial quote from "Lake Manasovar in Wikipedia"

The Sanskrit word "Manasarovar" (मानसरोवर) is a combination of two sanskrit words; "Mánas" (मानस) meaning "mind (in its widest sense as applied to all the mental powers), intellect, intelligence, understanding, perception, sense, conscience"[2] while "sarovara" (सरोवर) means "a lake or large pond"[3].
end partial quote.

My thought is "Mana" from heaven manifest in a lake.

The lake I relate to the most like this is in my own life since 1953 when I was 5 years old is Castle Lake across from Mt. Shasta and the two turquoise lakes full of ice most of the year in Shastina crater right next to the Mt. Shasta Peak.

Native Americans on a "Power Quest" would climb up Shastina Crater right next to big Mt. Shasta break a hole in the Ice and jump in on their power quests, especially those who were to become Native American Medicine Men or Medicine Women.
