Because there is NO safe level of dioxin for a DNA based organism either animal, human, or plant regarding Dioxin or related chemicals. It is equally harmful to humans, animals, birds, fish, and plants and insects. The most likely outcome from things like Roundup is Mole pregnancies or deformaties in children as a result of Roundup exposure. Roundup is a chemical compound that kills weeds by causing them to replicate unhealthy cells in an uncontrollable way until they die. The same thing happens in women who get pregnant who are exposed to dioxin or dioxin related chemicals.
Agent Orange used in Viet Nam on the DMZ still has children being born with multiple heads, arms and legs and other deformities after all these years still are being born in Viet Nam caused by the defoliant Agent Orange which is a dioxin based chemical that large planes sprayed as a defoliant in Viet nam during the Viet Nam war.
This is why I never use Roundup because I have studied in College about this when I was young and was an Anti-toxics activist in the early 1980s. Then the problem was 24D which was sprayed in forests a lot then.
