Chernobyl is actually in Ukraine near Kiev or Kyiv

I was interested in the article on Solar panels powering Kiev or Kyiv in Ukraine. I was surprised to learn that Chernobyl is actually in Ukraine not Russia. This could be one of the many reasons Ukraine separated from Russia eventually after this meltdown which was the most serious nuclear meltdown up until 1986, only to be surpassed by Fukushima in Japan caused by the Tsunami which will irradiate the Pacific Ocean and on currents all interconnected oceans on earth for 25,000 to 50,000 years through the water table from one of the meltdowns.

I can remember just after the Chernobyl disaster it wasn't safe to drink milk almost anywhere on earth because the radiation was everywhere spinning around the globe for some time. For example, wild boar near Chernobyl are still unsafe to eat 32 years later in this area and many areas in Europe far from Chernobyl because of the plants they eat are radiated still.
