Trump taking on China likely was ALWAYS a very bad idea. Think about this for a moment. This country told their people (and enforced it) that they could only have one child each per family and did this from the 1970s until recently.
Trump is a complete lightweight compared to any country that can get away with doing this to their people.
I also wrote about this recently in that I realized that China and other Asian Countries often think in terms of 50 year plans. The U.S. thinks only in terms of 4 to 8 year plans depending upon who is president. China has no need to deal with Trump. They only have to wait until he is gone either until he dies or leaves office. (And they might speed his demise up too in a variety of different ways).
