Templates

A Template is a piece of software that puts the design of your page and makes it stand out whatever that might be. In the past, I tried other template than the "Highway and sky" template that I started with in 2007 but didn't like them as well as the original. Now this template has crashed (I'm thinking because of corruption of the software more than anything else). There's no one I know of to ask about this so I just changed temporarily to a new one. It's important to understand that all software being what it is (electronic zeros and 1's) is going to corrupt over time automatically. You might be able to put something on a DVD which is permanent (if it isn't scratched or melted in too much heat in the sun) and that DVD could store what you have for 100 years or more. However, then you might not have a media available to play that on or even be able to convert it to something usable on.

This is why in some ways Paper is the best media. We have books and papyrus and even cuneiform clay tablets because electronic magnetic media (even the hard drive of your computer) is very very temporary and vulnerable to magnetics or water or snow or dropping or whatever.

So, just remember if you want to keep something it would be better to store it 100 or more years in paper form because electronic magnetic software is going to corrupt eventually like the hard drive of your computer or the removable hard drives many people have for traveling or storing data. This is likely true of all information on the cloud too because it is all stored in magnetic media which is corruptible.

So, unless data is printed on paper or clay like cuneiform or something more permanent everything you have will eventually corrupt and be gone because magnetic media corrupts over time including data in Clouds worldwide. Note: By Clouds I mean the "ICloud or the Cloud.
