Panama City appears to be in the Bulls Eye of Hurricane
This is a very impressive looking storm on Weather Radar in action. Panama City appears to be in it's bulls eye which is just to the right of the eye. The eye hasn't hit the shores of Florida yet but rain bands are hitting hard from Live Oak in Florida almost to Mobile Alabama right now. So, even if you aren't going to be hit with over 100 mph winds like Panama City is almost sure to the rains and storm surge could also be devastating. Also, it is supposed to travel up through Georgia and South and North Carolina as well bringing more devastation with it. Right now, Panama City is worried about the surge coming too far on shore into the city. They aren't sure the Sand burms are going to keep the storm surge out of the cities.
