Though there are many ways the U.S. and Iran could go to war accidentally:

I think it is in the interests of all nations on earth (with maybe the exception of Russia for higher oil prices) to try to prevent this war. Even Saudi Arabia isn't going to like what a war does to them too. Even Israel isn't going to like how devastated they and Saudi Arabia would both be after this war. Yemen would be further devastated. Syria and Iraq would be devastated again. And Pakistan and Afghanistan would also be affected simply because of the numbers of Shia Muslims living there would would fight to protect the homeland of the Shia religion worldwide which is Iran.

How many people likely could support Iran in a fight worldwide that are Shia Muslims?

And this just wouldn't be the fighting this could be monetary and logistics and terrorism as well worldwide. So, just allowing a war between Iran and the U.S. could send the whole world into a 10 to 20 year Great Depression with Oil prices at 200 or more per barrel which could destabilize most 3rd world countries on earth and cause the overthrow of their governments with people starving because they can no longer afford food because shipping the food (OIL) makes the food too expensive to buy at all for over half the people in any 3rd world nation on earth.

SO, ONCE AGAIN HOW MANY SHIA MUSLIMS COULD THEORETICALLY SUPPORT THEIR HOME NATION OF SHIA ISLAM ON EARTH: IRAN? AND THEY ARE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT MOSTLY THE MUSLIM WORLD BUT ALSO THROUGHOUT THE KNOWN WORLD.
