The universe as a sphere
This actually makes sense to me. Have you ever looked at a droplet of water on your window from the rain? It is an effect of cohesion. Imagine that the universe is a drop of water among millions of drops of water in some higher order universe much bigger than the one we live in. Now imagine this works infinitely large and infinitely small. So, in this sense the universe is literally never ending (bigger and bigger) and also (smaller and smaller) somewhat like Fractals have all the components within them bigger or smaller.
