What is living a life of Grace?

I would say Grace is "living with the Angels here on earth".

When you gain the trust of angels because you basically follow the rules of angels here on earth and demonstrate kindness to all beings then you start living in a state of Grace from then on.

All life watches us 24 hours a day waking and sleeping and if we are unkind then it is noted by many different beings.

I would say the strongest time I entered a "State of Grace" was when I took Ahimsa Vows which means I took a vow not to kill anything, especially in anger. This doesn't mean I don't believe in Self Defense. This was in the early 1980s.

For example, if I see a poisonous spider in my garage or in my house or in a hotel  I'm not going to let this poisonous spider live. If I see a hornet or bee or other stinging creature where I'm living or visiting at the very least I will try to take it outside where it cannot sting anyone.

But, it should be said that I spend a certain amount of time taking spiders outside my house if they find ways into my house. The only spider I leave inside my house is one "Daddy Longlegs" usually in my wife's and my bathroom. This is the most poisonous of all spiders in north America. However, their mandibles CANNOT pierce human flesh. But, they kill all other spiders in my house because of their lethality. So, I only leave one and if that one is a pregnant female daddy longlegs I try to take her outside before she has thousands of babies in my bathroom.

So, the point of all this is if spiders are outside that's okay with me. But, it's not okay with me if they are inside of my house and scaring my wife or my daughters when they are visiting so I put them outside if I can.

More Grace came to me from stopping killing anything including spiders and flies than any other single thing in my life. However, working on developing compassion for all beings in the universe I found very helpful too in living a life of Grace and Blessings!

By God's Grace
