Because it would tend to prevent wars. It wouldn't prevent terrorists at all but it would likely prevent wars sort of the way China has always prevented revolutions to overthrow the Chinese government for the most part for thousands of years already. Would this be a good thing or a bad thing?
Likely it would be both good and bad for everyone. Good in that people likely wouldn't die in wars that much but also bad in no human rights at all because prioritizing ANYONE's rights if they are poor wouldn't happen unless they had a rich friend or friends.
Do I think a One World Government would be good for the world? No probably not. Unless it was set up like a United States Democracy in a Republic. I think if it were set up like this it might work. However, if you had everyone allowed to go everywhere that might be problematic too because the whole world would get completely trashed like only some places are now completely trashed.
But, if I watch what Trump is doing he is moving us towards a dictatorship connected to Putin in Russia and against China. This doesn't seem very useful to me. So, impeaching Trump to protect the U.S. from Putin and a war with China likely is the best outcome for right now and removing Trump from office.
However, the real power brokers of the world might do almost anything at this point. So, we shall see what becomes necessary to do to keep our democracy in a Republic ongoing for several hundred or thousands of years more intact.
