Truth is way stranger than Fiction almost always

Imagine you incarnated as a world leader and you wanted to prevent the end of life on earth. What would you do?

The first thing you would have to do is to reduce human populations because the raw amounts of humans and just how fast they are now reproducing (especially uneducated ones in third world countries) isn't sustainable.

In fact, only about 1 billion people is even approaching sustainable (if they live on the surface) in terms of keeping them alive for 1 thousand years or more.

In other words since about the early 1900s we have lived in a complete fluke of time that is completely unsustainable for anyone human long term.

So, imagine we had a party from about 1900 and developed scientifically but because we didn't use birth control enough we reach our end about 2100 at present. However, without abortion on earth and birth control pills it is likely humans would have gone extinct in the 1970s or 1980s already.

However, about 13 to 14 billion people would be sustainable here on earth IF  We ONLY lived underground and tore down all buildings and cities and only used the surface of earth for transportation, parks and recreation and for farming. But, getting people to actually do this likely would be global warming winds sustained above 100 mph for several years all over the world.

And if that happened nothing could grow on the surface anyway because all leaves on everything would be gone even pine needles from trees. So, everything plant like or tree like would be dead from no way to have photosynthesis to stay alive because all leaves would be gone from the plants.

But, this is actually what is coming in global warming (not everywhere) but some places every year are going to be going to 100 to 300 mph gusts of wind which basically will get everything to blow away except for cement and metal combinations like in bridges or well built buildings made of concrete and steel. I suppose if you built a cement bunker with metal reinforcement like a basement under your home you might not blow away in these winds when they hit. And they could hit almost everywhere on earth the way things are going in some form.

Where I live last February the power was out for a week here where I live on the northern California coast so I stayed at another house in Santa Barbara with my oldest daughter and new son in law instead. When we returned we heard that over 100 mostly pine trees had blown down but I didn't really believe it at first because I saw at most 35 trees down in our area that were over 1 foot or more in diameter up to about 4 to 6 feet in diameter. But, later I visited and area I don't usually go to and realized they were right, "100 or more trees above 1 foot or more in diameter had blown down last February where I live. I was amazed because in 20 years of living here at this location this hasn't happened before ever.

But, will it happen again in the next years? I'm thinking likely yes. And this is the problem. As the winds get stronger everywhere it becomes more dangerous in a variety of ways everywhere.

For example, the problem is getting fire insurance anywhere now in California and it is getting worse and worse every year. Other places like in the southeast they cannot get flood insurance which is just as bad. Because without flood or fire insurance you cannot buy a mortgage to buy a house in the first place. So, this means only the richest of people can buy property various places now if they cannot get insurance to insure their mortgages in fires and floods many many places now in the U.S.

You can see where I'm going with this. If you can't get flood or fire insurance you cannot either build a house or get a mortgage or get financing to build unless you have the cash on hand already.

This is becoming more and more of a reality all over the U.S. now.
