Though I'm 72 and my wife 65 neither of us have been able to get vaccines in our county in California. I just heard on the news that as of February 17th that they will begin vaccinating 65 to 74 year old people in child care like Nannies and Farm Workers 65 to 74 also because they are in high risk professions.
Like I have said before I only know 5 people in my peer group which would be people above 65 years of age that I know who have gotten at least one vaccine so far here in California anywhere.
However, since we are not in any high risk profession and are mostly retired we likely will have to wait until the end of February or the beginning of March to get our vaccinations even though we also are between 65 and 74 years of age. I suppose we could go to another county and that might work.
