How many people can earth sustain ongoing for millions of years time?
Answer: Less than 1 billion people on the surface of earth. However, if people live underground and tear down all cities and use the surface ONLY for recreation and farming only we might sustain around 14 billion people if they ALL lived underground. But, ONLY 1 billion people living on the surface can be sustained for millions of years. In fact, we are going extinct slowly right now as a species because there are too many of us to sustain life here on earth at present on the surface of the planet.
What are some of the other questions?
What foods can people actually eat that are sustainable without extincting all species on earth eventually?
How should we grow food and transport food to sustain life here on earth?
What are we going to do when winds of 200 to 300 mph become more normal seasonally many places on earth?
One solution might be well built greenhouses that wouldn't be destroyed by winds this strong.
If winds are blowing 200 to 300 miles per hour what happens to fresh water sources during all this?
There are many more questions than this that need to be both asked and answered for ANY humans to survive the next few centuries at all.
And the ideas are not enough because implementing those ideas will likely be much harder than thinking of those solutions simply because of most people being the way they are and usually not able to think in long term terms for the survival of the human race.
