And in 19 states, at least half of adults are fully vaccinated. Those are Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as Washington, DC.

If you don't want yourselves or other relatives or friends to die when the India and South American Variants hit later this summer or fall or winter these are the states you statistically have the best chance of surviving in.
I'm sort of horrified to notice that California is not one of these states. I think if it were just Northern California we would be over 50% vaccinated but many people from south of the border are suspicious of getting vaccinated who live in southern California. For example, San Francisco is basically at herd immunity right now regarding covid and vaccinations. So, it is better right now to live in Northern California if you want to be alive this time next year regarding covid.
I'm still trying to get my two daughters to get vaccinated but so far we got my son, his wife, my younger daughter's roommate, and my older daughter's husband to get vaccinated so that's a pretty good start too.
If you want to be alive in 2030 getting vaccinated likely is going to be the only way now if you look at present variables worldwide that are ongoing for now.
Right now I'm thinking we could lose 3 to 5 billion people by 2030 if these variants don't stop by then.
If you look at India with 8 million new cases every day it doesn't look good for the world regarding spread and variants and deaths ongoing.
If this were the U.S. with 8 million new cases a day it would mean that one month from now the death toll would be 136,000 people dying a day. IT would be 1.7% of the people dying who had covid. But in India it will be much worse than that because their health care system has already failed.
This will tend to create more and more awful variants as it hits more people in remote corners of the world with failed immune systems too. I'm hoping we can prevent human extinction this century the way this is presently going.
