That's quite possible. Because (spoiler) (if you are going to see this movie you might not want to read this).
Because the plot goes into chemically altering minds to change their behavior which could also relate back to people worried about being chipped by vaccinations. It's true that this happens in a non-free society like run by Putin in Russia at present but it likely cannot help but freak a whole lot of people out worldwide on how all these young women (the Widows) who are all mind altered fighters from inside Russia.
