Firefighters will continue to work through the night to establish strong control lines.

The fire started Friday, October 16, on Hazel Dell Road near Hidden Canyon Road after a prescribed burn at Estrada Ranch jumped containment lines.

Firefighters used favorable weather conditions to get some containment on the fire.

Evacuation orders near Mt. Madonna County Park were downgraded to warnings Saturday at noon.

Evacuation Warnings

  • Zones PAJ-E001, PAJ-E002, PAJ-E003, PAJ-E007, near Mt. Madonna County Park.

An evacuation warning that was previously in place for Zone CRZ-E046 (Summit Area) was also lifted Saturday.

In a tweet, Cal Fire urged people to avoid the fire area and surrounding roads to allow residents to return home and for crews working on the fire.

This is a developing story, stay with KSBW 8 for the latest.
