Blogspot (also called blogger.com) is owned (I still think it is at least) by Google. So, anywhere on earth that Google Goes (as far as I know this is still true) your website goes as well? If you can get more information on this I would be interested in knowing more too. But, this was one of the main selling points of this free site since 2007 is that it would go all over the world.
Also, one of the advantages of having a site at blogger.com (blogspot) is you don't have to know HTML or any other online computer language because it has an Auto-encoder which can do all the HTML and other programming for you.
However, when you are quoting from other websites odd things might happen depending upon who programmed that website and what tools they used in building that site and how they programmed everything. So, auto-encoders are great when you are just composing your own writings and pictures at your site. But, when you begin to quote and give credit to other writers and websites Auto-encoders might fail you in various ways. but, you never really know until you try to quote something from another site to your website.
However, there are also problems with this like for example, I had to shut off comments here at blogger.com(blogspot) because of prostitution rings in mostly Asia making comments in Chinese and Japanese and other languages that I then had to run through Google Translate to know for sure what they were doing leaving comments at my site. So, finally since I didn't want prostitution rings and worse advertising through the comments section of my website I finally realized the easiest way to deal with this was to shut off comments so international people wouldn't abuse my site.
However, if you haven't traveled the world like I have and don't fully know how bad it can be for people (men and women and children) in other parts of the world, then maybe having a worldwide site that is read all over the world isn't for you.
But, the site you are reading this from has been free since 2007. In other words it didn't cost me a penny so far to create or to use this site and I have somewhere between 5 and 10 million visits or more to this site already. The reason I cannot say for sure is that for awhile there the counter stuck at 2.5 million visits and then it would reset back to 1 or 1.5 million visits several times because I don't think the counter went beyond 2.5 million visits for any site here. This is what I'm thinking. So, I know for sure my actual count is around 5 to 10 million visits or more so far or even more than that.
