If you look at the number of teachers who have died from Covid after being infected by their students:

it's really no surprise at all that young people don't want to be dead "Sitting ducks" like Nurses and doctors are too. At least nurses and doctors are paid enough to make the risk worthwhile, while teachers can barely feed themselves and house themselves working as public school teachers at least nationwide.

But, if you look at Scandinavian countries, teachers are some of the most highly paid people in their countries. They are the creme de la Creme of the intelligent college students of their countries.

So, if you want teachers to continue to choose to be public school teachers then you have to pay them enough to make it worth their while financially to potentially die from Covid or other viruses or other pandemics that might happen now.

Because young people simply will not choose to be teachers if it means they are going to die by something like Covid anymore.

It's just not worth the risk at all to die and have student loans not paid off while not having enough money to live or feed yourself in these times.

It's quite simple really.

Everything on earth has completely changed now.

Nothing at all will be the same anymore after this Covid Pandemic.

Everything has changed and might keep changing in ways none of us can predict at this point.
