What do I mean by this?
Well. Let's say you write something one day and you like what you have written somehow and you know it might be good. So, you read it again in a week or a month and you KNOW that what you wrote is not only good but you can see that it is timeless in many ways and likely could stand the test of time.
Now, this doesn't mean that people won't misinterpret what you are writing as words slowly change their meanings. I mean my daughter has completely different meanings for words I commonly used in the 1960s and 1970s (my 25 year old daughter who is almost 50 years younger than me). So, through time all the words you are choosing to write in will likely take on different meanings slowly or quickly to the point where people might not fully understand what you were trying to say within 10 to 20 to 50 years time.
But, all we can do is what we can do in the end.
So, when you write something that you know is good try to publish it online at a website if you want to. However, if you are trying to make money that's an entirely different thing. And things you want to make money with that you write have to be handled in an entirely different way.
But, I always wrote because I love to write and mostly find it a very healing thing to do in my life.
