Where I live in Northern California we have broken the record (during January and February 2022) for the most days without significant rainfall

At least 36 days during January and February with no significant rainfall which broke all previous records for these months this year. Now we are into March with no significant rainfall since December. We might get a few drops in the next few days but not enough to be considered significant. So, we are in the most serious drought I likely have ever seen here in northern California at this point. However, Southern California has been getting monsoon storms out of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean this year as a part of the major changes in Global Climate changes. So, from about Morro Bay north to the Oregon Border we are in severe drought I would say at this point until something changes.
