It's a way to make more sense of one's life and what is happening around one. It also helps other people often when you discuss what you are thinking on any given subject. However, some people don't have enough facts to make judgements because we are all in this fix to some degree.
My father once said to me in the 1950s: He said: "You are becoming a man and a man has to make decisions for himself and his family and sometimes for his friends the rest of his life. But, one NEVER has enough information almost ever to make any of the decisions one has to make. So, all you can do is to keep making decisions with the best information you can get on any subject while at the same time reserving the right to change any of your decisions at another point as more information on the subject arises."
My father was Valedictorian of his High School Senior class. You can see by his statement just how intelligent he was. Him saying this to me made me much better at making decisions for myself, my family and sometimes when I had to for others as well. So, because of my father I became a good decision maker and I realize NONE of us have all the information we need when making any decisions at all. We just have to keep making decisions for our life to work at all.
By God's Grace.
