the weather has been pretty crazy Since about Friday even for California

There is a saying about California "When it rains it pours" which just means it is either dry here or it is flooding here. There really isn't any in between because of the altitudes from Mt. Whitney (the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states) and Sea Level with many many mountains 3000 feet to 7000 feet too all the way up to well over 14,000 feet. Even Mt. Shasta is well over 14,000 feet and I climbed Shasta in 1970 in August of that year along with three Friends.

But, so far in the last couple of months there have been two places where I was given Tornado warnings which is pretty strange for California by itself anywhere. Then at the same time as this last tornado Warning in Santa Barbara we were also dealing with flooding downtown especially in Santa Barbara. Then there was 1/2 inch hail coming down from Carpenteria to Montecito which also are in the Santa Barbara Area too. Then out to sea were Water Spouts and Cloud to sea lightning.

And then my friend who is in Kathmandu Nepal went to a concert there and they were at an outside concert and he saw likely 30 lightning strikes in heavy rain for one minute or more all around them while everyone got drenched. He said he has never seen anything like this in his life anywhere on earth before and he is 72 presently and has been around the world some already for many years.

I guess what I'm trying to get at here is the weather is nuts everywhere and it isn't really possible to fully predict what the weather is going to do ANYWHERE likely from now on. Not Really.
