Electric car owners have about 75% more problems with their cars than people who drive diesels or gasoline engine vehicles. So, on one level you aren't paying for Gasoline (that's the good thing) but on the other hand you are going to be paying 75% more for maintenance and repairs than a Gas or Diesel vehicle. So, people need to be realistic regarding what they are getting into.
