The Atlas(2024) movie at Netflix is an interesting Movie premise

I couldn't watch all of it because I was flying out in a few hours for Austin, Texas and I had to get up at 4AM to do this this time. I couldn't sleep so I watched about 1/2 hour of it. I think they in some ways overdo the whole AI thing but that's just me. I think if you actually study how AI works (at least right now) you might be less worried than many people are. If you want to protect yourselves from AI or to Benefit more from AI the best bet is to study it in the same way when the Automobile was first invented it would benefit you to study the Motorcar and learn to repair and operate one. It's pretty much the same thing in some ways because this is going to change our lives as much as the Automobile and Diesel Trucks and Airplanes compared to now. But, think about all the good things and bad things that came as a direct result like World War II, Passenger jet Travel, most Americans owning cars and all the rest. The changes are going to be just as big if not bigger. So, the more you know about AI the more likely it won't destroy your life. So, learning about AI might even save your life in the short and long run on many different levels.
