Will Any Nation State survive the next 100 Years?

I'm asking an important question because all one has to do is to look at places like Somalia and what has been going on the last 20 years or more there to begin to get what I'm talking about. Now, add to that Iceland, Greece, now Ireland, possibly Portugal and Spain and the possible end of the European Union. Now you see the unraveling of the nation states worldwide. If nation states go what will they be replaced with?

I don't have answers but globalization is changing every way we function as worldwide societies. Some nations like China, India, and Brazil and possibly even Germany if the European Union and Euro don't take them down might be okay in the long run.

But, the fundamental question I must ask is still, "Will any nation state at all survive globalization and global climate change?" I don't know but if any of us live long enough we are sure to find out.

I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm just trying to be realistic about what is happening on earth at this time. It appears to me that economic forces are tearing apart all nations. And these economic forces come directly from unregulated financial transactions. These unregulated financial transactions should not be financed by governments, because these transactions could be perceived as criminal in nature when they are perpetrated on or against governments.

Until Governments let their banks and financial institutions go under like Iceland did, I don't think any nation on earth can long survive the economic criminal activities of all financial institutions. Until enough citizens of nations understand this one point, their nations are over! I don't have the solution completely but I can see the problem and it is ongoing unregulated economic criminal activity worldwide! Until this sort of thing is both regulated and fiercely enforced no nation state can long survive this back room unlimited stakes poker game among financial wizards world wide!

• I was lucky because neither of my parents smoked and my father and mother were both into eating organic food whenever they could find it. However, growing up in the 1950s about 1/2 of all adults smoked back then so at least one or both of most of my friends parents smoked back then. So, many of those children now almost 60 or above wonder if they will be one of the statistics above.
• So in places like China where it is still in regard to smoking much like it was in the U.S. in the 1950s there will be an incredible amount of deaths in the coming years because of the amounts of Chinese people smoking now. 
• I read another article the other day that said that 50,000 per year die in the United States alone from 2nd hand smoke. That is more than die in traffic accidents in the U.S. per year.

I think by now everyone in California is feeling the cold weather.  Along the Coast it tends to be a little warmer than inland lows because of the Pacific Ocean. So, a low of 42 degrees Fahrenheit is very low for San Francisco. However, other lows along the Northern Pacific Coast were as low as 36 degrees or lower.

Keeping Wikipedia strong and ongoing for all of us on Earth

I have a blog and an archive site and the primary research tool I use for both sites is Wikipedia. The best thing about Wikipedia is that it is there, that it is constantly updated with the latest information by worldwide contributors  and it is free like PBS and NPR and that it helps everyone on earth who is online and who has access to it. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't fact check something on Wikipedia. Thank you Wikipedia for being there! I donated to Wikipedia several times now so I thought there might be others who might want to demonstrate their gratitude for the continued existence of Wikipedia worldwide in many many languages.

I also have a suggestion for those speaking other languages than English. It might be helpful (or not) to use  Google Translate on the English version of Wikipedia in some cases because it is so large and has so many resources. (just a thought) However, I also know that often a robot translator doesn't have the same feel when it comes out the other end into another language. So it could be good, or not depending upon what is being translated and into what language.

More and more, people are avoiding the "Complete Nightmare of Air Travel" by hitting the roads by car, truck,  buses or trains to get to where they want to be now and in the future. They have completely given up Air Travel and just consider it "Insane" under the present DEHUMANIZING conditions much to the dismay of Airlines.

Also, as I have said in other articles I think the "lower 48 states" will start to become more like Alaska  in that more people "who can afford it" will fly their own planes more or join flying co-ops or flying by sharing flights where people share the price of gas etc. rather than submit to scanning or pat downs.

Dragon of Compassion

Periodically I try to tell my story of how the idea of "Dragon of Compassion" and "intuitivefred888" all came about organically through the years.

Since I was raised a Mystical Christian I found the basis of both "My Path" and my religion was always,
"God is Where you Find HIM" which basically also means "God is wherever you find Him, Her, The Being everywhere and every when in the Universe). In otherwords "There is No place that God is not". So since there is no place that God is not, always be looking for "Him,Her, The Being" in everything and everyone All the Time 24 hours a day of every day you are alive.

This has always been both my path, my life and my inspiration, especially when I am out in nature on the ocean or in the forests traveling all over the earth. This is also true when I meet or see anyone, anytime, anywhere. So, this often makes every experience very powerful for both me and whoever I meet or even see or have any kind of contact with.

On top of this God gifted me intuitively. And as these gifts have grown they have at different times (especially as I was growing up) kind of terrifying in an Old Testament kind of way. But I finally outgrew being afraid that way by the time I was 32 and I finally understood how the whole universe really operated (at least in relation to me). I think we all must forge our own covenants with God and the universe, whether we sign onto existing covenants with God or make our own out of the necessity of surviving in a body on Earth. And I know I have done both and it is important to everyone I believe to realize that they can modify their covenants with God when necessary as they grow and understand more and more. In this way they can be much more useful both to God and to themselves and all life everywhere in the universe in the past, present and future.

So, after I had received my first empowerment from a Tibetan Lama when I was 32 everything started to change in my life in a new way. I had fully entered the "Path of Compassion" Towards all life in the universe in the past, present and future. I have found since then that "at least for me" this is the most powerful path in the universe and it could also be said that it can also be the safest path in the universe as long as one has common sense and is very pragmatic and has common sense in the practice of this path. It was a very long journey for me to get to this point at age 32.  At this initiation and empowerment I realized that every religion springs up out of the earth in some place on earth. Judaism and Christianity sprang up in the Holy Lands of Israel and Jerusalem.  Tibetan Buddhism sprang first through Hinduism through Brahmanism to Buddhism and then Padmasambhava took it to Tibet.

I thought to myself, "What religion has sprung up through the United States?" The one that touched me in this moment that was 1000s of years old already was Native American Shamanism. And so, to ground and to further empower me on my path I asked the universe during the initiation to send me a Medicine Man to ground this path I was embarking on to make is safer for me and for everyone else. Because I knew this was going to be very very powerful and I wanted to be sure it would be safe for my soul and all other souls I would contact on earth no matter their religion or lack of religion. I wanted the influence of my soul to be positive on everyone and every being and creature in the universe.

Within 1 to 2 weeks the Medicine Man showed up at my friend's house and I knew God had answered my prayer. I studied with this medicine man with my wife and children for about 3 years. At one point during the summer of 1983 I was shown during a sweat lodge ceremony to go on a vision quest of no water and no food for four days and nights in the wilderness. So I did.

In the second day of this no water and no food fast while praying with only prayer beads and a sleeping bag in a bear wallow next to the Trinity River and under a fallen 7 foot through Cedar Tree I had a vision of myself becoming a 50 foot high (or bigger) Golden Dragon. At the time this was kind of a scary experience because it was so very real and powerful. Then I breathed Fire out upon thousands of people but the fire did not burn them. Instead they all smiled and became more enlightened by the dragon fire. So, I realized the fire was enlightenment. In time, I also realized this vision confirmed that I should be on a Tibetan Buddhist path, which was the sign I was looking for. So, this in turn led to me meeting an American Tibetan Buddhist Teacher, who then introduced me to many Tibetan Lamas from India, Nepal and Tibet in California and Oregon and also led me to be initiated and empowered by many of them, including the Dalai Lama when I and my family received the Kalachakra Tantra Initiation during the last week of December 1985 in Bodhgaya, India where the Buddha had become enlightened under the Bodhi Tree. So, this was an amazingly powerful experience which changed greatly all our lives. We then  traveled with our Spiritual Friend, Geshe Lobsang Gyatso whose name literally meant "Strong and Kind Ocean of Wisdom and Spiritual Friend", who was a Gelukpa Lama in the Dalai Lama's lineage. He took us to Varanasi to see where Buddha gathered his first students there and to the Burning Ghat where we witnessed the cremations of Hindu devotees. The whole thing was a very moving experience. We also rented a boat and saw freshwater dolphins swimming in the Ganges along with thousands of people bathing and being blessed by the experience. We then went to the Taj Mahal by train and finally to New Delhi and Dharmsala, India by train and finally bus when there were no more tracks. Geshela accompanied us all the way to Dharmsala, India. Then Geshela came back to the U.S. with us and we got him a Priests Green card, the same kind that Catholic Priests that come to the U.S. get. Geshela passed away in California. I looked at a biography of another Geshe Lobsang Gyatso on Wikipedia but this is a different one even though that one was also born in Kham around the  same time as the one I knew. The one I knew was taken from Kham where his father and mother ran a horse pack train into parts of China and passed away in their early 50s. The Geshela I knew also walked out of Tibet with the Dalai Lama in 1959 while Chinese fighter planes strafed and killed many of their party that were on foot. He had only his monks robes, a jacket and dress brown shoes to get out on foot at that time. He was in his early twenties then in 1959 when he escaped from Tibet with the Dalai Lama.

When Geshela took us to Dharmsala, India at about 6000 feet elevation in the Himalayas where the Dalai Lama and at least 10,000 or more Tibetans then lived there in India (probably many more now), one of his monk students took us to see Ling Rinpoche. At that time in January and February 1986 Ling Rinpoche had been sitting on a table in the Maitreya Mudra teaching position unmoving for 2 years.

Note: In this physical Mudra of Blessing and teaching he sits in meditation with his right hand raised with palm facing forward with three fingers pointing upward with his his thumb and first finger touching as in an amplifying circle of teaching and blessing.

And even though he had not eaten or moved in 2 years and had entered Samadhi, I could sense he was projecting upon us all the Heaven of Samadhi back upon all us who were fortunate enough to have this blessing. We had to walk miles up into the mountains  to an unassuming stone hut with a slate roof to meet the monks that watched over his body while he meditated for two years while sitting in the Maitreya Mudra teaching position with the heaven realmst radiating out of his hands and body. He reminded me a lot of Gandhi sitting there in his two year meditation. Since I am intuitively gifted I eventually had to walk out and cry in amazement outside. My father had just passed away  6 months before and here was something entirely different that no one in the U.S. (or almost no one) would ever believe was real. And here I was being taken here by Ling Rinpoche's monks. I felt very blessed and privileged by this experience and so did my wife and children who were then 10 years to 14 years old. Now they each are a Fire Captain, a Lawyer, and now the youngest will be an RN BS (a nurse) next month.

Then in 1998 I got a heart virus and wasn't expected to live. Up to this time I had never published anything I had ever written anywhere. But as I lay on a guerney and wasn't sure I would live at Stanford Medical then in the Fall of 1998 I vowed that if I lived I would start a website and write of all my amazing experiences until I died because I realized then that that was what God wanted me to do. After I had had my first website in 1999 for awhile I realized thinking back upon my vision quest of becoming a Huge Golden Dragon that breathed the fire of enlightenment upon thousands of people that my websites were what this was all about. I also realized that people and other beings would read what I had written not only in the past, present and future of Earth but also in the past, present and future of all over the Galaxy and beings would be helped in some small measure to enlightenment by reading about my own path to enlightenment and of my endeavor to be a good person that could benefit all beings including myself towards enlightenment and the permanent end of suffering of all beings.  This is the story of the "Dragon of Compassion" and what he means to me and hopefully to you as well.

The California Thanksgiving Freezes

Since most of the Thanksgivings in my life since I was 4 years old and first moved to California with my family from Seattle, I have noticed that some of the coldest temperatures of the year almost always arrive just around Thanksgiving. There seems to be a window between Halloween and Thanksgiving to get the coldest temperatures. I have never really understood why this is. Maybe it is that if there are any storms there is a lot of wind and so there aren't a lot of clouds slowly moving by or high or low fog to keep all the heat from flying off the ground and off into space. Maybe that's part of it. Or maybe the arctic storms this time of year dive deeper into the western states and really sort of put the fear of God into us (or just the fear of a really cold winter). Any way you look at it it is very very cold for Northern California here on the Pacific Coast (relatively speaking) and much much worse to the north and the east of us for hundreds and thousands of miles.

The idea of an ever expanding universe has always made sense to me in the same way when one throws a rock into a pond the concentric rings expand outward as far as they can go. Also, many scientists have remarked how the universe reminds them of how a human mind operates and some have wondered in some ways because of the similarity if it actually operates more like a mind that what people think of as a physical thing with physical properties.

So, it is possible because of the eccentric way we view things here on earth that are still to a greater or lesser degree still coming from a Newtonian point of view (For every action there is an opposite but equal reaction) even though this isn't always true in subatomic physics in which other laws not even discovered yet operate.

So, until people can (at least at times go beyond) Newtonian ancient ways of perceiving that predate human history, it might not be possible to have a useful way of viewing the universe in order to fully understand it.

Possibly it could be understood if one who was a scientist could experience himself or herself as the universe and by analyzing what is true while in this state of consciousness. Once this philosophic state could be quantified by philosophic thought it might be able to be mathematically processed in a useful way in order to tie together all the different systems scientifically that are known to exist.

In this way one might finally scientifically pull together all the basic aspects of science in regard to the universe. Definitely, other ways of thinking about all this are needed than the ones presently being used.

West Coast Deep Freeze

Though our temperatures don't ever compare with the Northern Midwest, Colorado, Utah, Idaho or even Santa Fe or Taos or the East Coast, for us here on the Pacific this is pretty cold, and usually as cold as it ever gets here.

I was listening to the weather man and snow is expected to fall down to 1500 feet. So that means that you could be standing where it is snowing and looking at the ocean and still be in northern California. That is very unusual. Temperatures this regularly low throughout the state are very unusual and usually happen like this at most once or twice a year. The other problem this could cause is in frozen produce growing in the Sacramento Valley and even Salinas Valley and other growing regions in Northern California and might affect produce prices in the U.S. later this month because of this.

Because I live on the Northern California ocean our lows will be mitigated by the Pacific ocean so we should stay just barely above freezing tonight here on the coast. But inland freezing temperatures will affect almost everyone from about Big Sur inland all the way across the state  and into Nevada by tomorrow morning and all points northwards. So, there likely will be a lot of broken water pipes in people's homes not usually prepared for temperatures this cold.

I was also checking out the Ski Lifts temperature around 2 pm today:
Mt. Ashland is presently at 10 degrees Fahrenheit with 22 inches of snow at the ski lift and still snowing.
Mt. Shasta Ski Park is at 22 degrees Fahrenheit with 20 inches of snow and still snowing.
Squaw Valley Ski area near Lake Tahoe is at 20 degrees with a maximum 76 inch base at it's higher levels and snowing heavily at the upper elevations.

Even the little city of Mt. Shasta expects only 12 degrees Fahrenheit tonight which will probably be one of the colder nights this year.

So, this year might turn out to be a really good ski season for the West Coast if the snow keeps coming and the temperatures stay low enough through November and December.

And if you are in Northern California or further north or east of us, check your water pipes and if necessary shut off your water heater and run the water both hot and cold a trickle if you think it will keep your pipes from freezing and breaking in the unusually cold arctic weather we are now getting.

I also found out that Kirkwood Ski Area in the Lake Tahoe Region of California got 10 1/2 feet of new snow since the weekend. That must be some kind of record in this short of time. I hope people who didn't expect this snow like hikers who are backpackers in the Sierras and Cascades are all okay after this much snow.  Because unless they have really good snowshoes they are going to stay wherever they are for some time in weather like this in the mountain ranges.

Amazing People

I think we all have a few amazing people that we meet during our lifetimes. I have been very fortunate. I have met many amazing people all over the world that have totally rocked my world in mostly  good ways.

When I was little I always had this feeling that there was this extremely powerful presence within me. At the time I saw it as an enormous Tiger that wanted to eat me. So during my childhood I was running inside from it because I didn't want to die! I think this fear was one of the things that gave me childhood epilepsy. (That and a concussion!) So from ages 10 to 15 I was fighting for my life in various ways. But it was mostly invisible to everyone else except my parents, as they made me keep my childhood epilepsy secret from all friends and relatives most of my life until they passed away. We could get away with this because all seizure were after I went to sleep.

So, what I'm trying to get at here was that this fear wasn't imaginary just in my mind. It was something real and I was desperately trying to not die! Finally at age 15 the  seizures stopped because my cranial cavity had grown and the pressure on my brain from the concussion ended. My son who becomes an RN BS this year told me this.

So, from this series of experiences I learned to control my feelings and inner thoughts so I could stay alive. This made me very supernaturally powerful because of being forced to grow up emotionally in this way in order to stay alive. So, I found myself emotionally and intuitively stronger than anyone my age by age 15. So it didn't matter how intelligent someone was, they were no match for me in emotional and intuitive intelligence ever.

I don't know if you have ever been in the position where no one can equal you your own age. It is pretty scary because the air is pretty rarified. So I began to search for teachers so I didn't hurt anyone by accident supernaturally with what God had done to me.

My first teacher had blessed me when I was 2 months  old in the little city of Mt. Shasta around 1950 and her name was Mrs. Ballard and she was my parents spiritual teacher. So, since she was the head of a 10,000 plus person religion worldwide and since my parents were in charge of the Los Angeles Church from 1954 to 1960 when my mother's father died and she had a temporary nervous breakdown from her father's death and likely worry about my childhood epilepsy because it was getting worse every year until I was 14 or 15 in 1963 when it ended.

After I left my parents religion at age 21 I began searching for other teachers because I still knew I had to somehow get my supernatural house in order as I wanted to only do good and no one that I knew then understood how to teach me that I had met.

I knew I needed custom instruction because I was not like anyone else I had ever met. I read a book called "Autobiography of a Yogi" and would buy 10 or more paperback copies of it and give it to hitchikers I would pick up in my 1966 VW Bug. It was fairly safe to pick up people before I would say about 1973 or 4. Some places it was safe to pick up hitchikers until the late 1970s. But I stopped picking up hitchikers when my son was born in 1974 because I didn't feel it was safe with him in the car to pick up hitchikers. Now I wouldn't recommend anyone hitch hike and everyone knows why now. But then it was a much more innocent and safe world than it is now generally speaking.

So, here and there I would meet someone who knew enough about what I needed to learn. I used to go visit Kathryn Kulman

along with 10,000 or more at the Shrine auditorium. In my early twenties my then girlfriend and I would go often. But my experience was as a scientist and as an intuitive watching how the Christ energies were invoked and mobilized to actually heal people. I found the whole experience very scientifically informative and it made one intoxicated with being around so many angels as hundreds and sometimes thousands of healings took place. The spiritual energy in the room was really amazing. I will never forget those experiences. I have never seen anything quite like them either before or since then. So, as I moved in my twenties through various teachers and studied Kriya Yoga through SRF and met many different Gurus and teachers I learned more and more about myself and my gifts and what they meant both to me and to the life around me.

Around age 32 I met and married my second wife. She had a non dualistic philosophy of life. She told me how at age 5 she had gone to church and the sunday school teacher had told her that everyone not of her religion was going to hell. My second wife said at age 5, "Well. I think you are wrong. Everyone who isn't this religion is Not going to hell. You are wrong." And she never went back to that church again because this idea upset her so. I shared this belief that any church that said this was crazy. So this was one of the many things that bonded us as husband and wife during those times.  Since she was an empath and I was a Seer and an intuitive, we could both see in reality in real time that this idea about everyone going to hell was ridiculous and a lie. Not only that it damaged the souls of everyone who believed this lie.

God was a million or trillion times or more open minded and intelligent than any of these people obviously were.

So, off we went to meet spiritual teachers who shared this belief with us all around the world.

Finally my 2nd wife got me to go to be initiated by a Tibetan Lama. I had felt the incredible power around Tibetan Lamas because I was always an intuitive. However, I didn't understand it. So, I was afraid. My 2nd wife told me that the whole point is compassion and that worshiping truth was a warrior's path and that

he who lives by the sword dies by the sword. And so the perfect path was a path of compassion. This was a collosal change for me to take on this new path.

And at first I found it a very scary path because this wasn't what I was used to. But over several years I found this path much superior (for me at least) to any other path. Because it made me over time like a father figure to all beings. And so I began to see all beings as my children in a compassionate sense at least.

Then this spread out over time and practice especially waking up to saying in my mind and often just feeling the truth of this whenever I wasn't needing the full focus of my mind to do something else during the day:

"May all Beings attain Bliss and the Cause of Bliss.

May all Beings be free from suffering and the Cause of suffering.

May all Beings never be without the supreme Bliss that is free from all

Near and Far all Grasping and Aversion.  

I would say the above in my mind or out loud three times

and often seal it with:

By this merit may I become like all the Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions and the three times.

To translate this for a western secular Christian I would say that Bodhisattva is like a Saint who continues to reincarnate for the benefit of all beings. One like this is often called "A Living Buddha" when he or she is recognized by other enlightened beings.

So, basically what you are saying translated would be easier said, "By this merit make me a Saint of the Universe."

Because the ten directions are what it takes to navigate a space ship (or soul) in space. And the three times are: The past, the present and the future. So what is being said really is: "By this Merit make me a Saint of the Universe in the past, present and future."

Hiding in Plain Sight

Science Fiction Research for all of you:

Since I don't have to write to earn a living but primarily do it for the joy and enlightenment it brings into my life and hopefully others, I like to share ideas with other writers for I find I'm sort of a muse for other writers as intuitives often are.


It is my thought that messages or codes are often hidden in plain sight and have been through secret agencies of all governments for thousands of years. So there are literally codes that could be anything from a fly on a plate in a room or house to a branch on the porch to a specific motorcycle driving by a specific place on a given day to a picture on a TV program that everyone tends to watch or literally anything. However, because it is "Hiding in Plain Sight" it only has real meaning for the one who either knows the code or who is triggered by the code.


Up until now any person that reads mysteries like James Bond by Ian Flemming or any other knows this kind of stuff. And even the next things I will write of you probably have seen in a movie or book but I guess I was triggered by the events in North Korea a few days ago so I'm writing all this because it triggered the whole "Cloak and Dagger" kind of book or movie in my mind.


So, I was thinking about a Time Cadre,(which I sometimes write about) in things like:

under the names above and others. I was thinking about how a time cadre would operate and probably only one to three people on earth in any given time would know it exists. Because of the necessity of "Probable Deniability" it would be necessary for someone even at this level to be able to pass a lie detector test as to whether this person was a "Time Cadre" leader or "Time General" of that time era on Earth. So, what would trigger such a person to remember who he or she was? It would have to be an event like regarding nuclear proliferation or an outright nuclear blast. This would trigger their memory to move up out of the daydreaming and fantasy stage to realizing what their training had been and who they really were. Then they would trigger the other members of the time cadre by symbols hiding in plain sight or "Key Words". These people would likely already be friends and work associates or even relatives. They would then correct whatever problems were with their time, then give each other amnesiacs to forget the events and return to a daydream state with all of this to being heads of companies, Generals or Admirals or whatever was there cover. So after traveling through time and correcting the nuclear blast by eliminating the event by time manipulation they return to their undecipherable cover.

 

 

As a writer and as an intuitive this is how I think this could be done seamlessly. And given the insanity I grew up with during the Cold War here on earth along with Millions of the rest of you on the news every night, I think we have had this kind of help ongoing since at the very least World War II. What do you think?

 

 

George was a U.S. Foreign Service Representative. Being only about 28 to 30 years of age he didn't yet have the seniority to be sent someplace cool like the American Embassy in Paris, France or something like that. So, he was regularly moved from one third world U.S. Embassy to the next. However, yesterday something odd had happened. He had been ordered to return to Washington D.C. And when he asked who had ordered this he was given a government site online that he did not recognize. He wasn't able no matter what he did to find one person who was connected to this order. So, being an obedient Civil Servant he returned by Government Business jet along with several other U.S. Embassy personnel on regular re-assignments which happened regularly, especially for the younger and single U.S. Foreign Service members like himself.

 

 

However, when he returned to his assigned government apartment for security purposes he found that his Macbook Pro laptop started flashing in 3 inch letters across his computer screen, "New Event Detected!" It had a very strange cadence to this flash and size of words and he found himself hypnotized by it and it reminded him of how he felt when he was watching a really good movie where one forgets one is watching a movie and becomes a part of it. It was like his whole mind started to grow a whole new way of looking at everything. It was as if 20% of his reality had been temporarily covered over and was now re-integrating with the rest of him. His reaction now was, "OH Shit! I'm not who I think I am at all! This is just a cover for what I really am. Oh My God! I've been called up because of an incident. He noticed when he clicked on "New Event Detected" it had a little hand like a word button for a new online site. It immediately took him to a story about someone named George, his name.  Now this was obviously written about him because it had his first name, date of birth and where he grew up and even had the names of his now deceased parents and the names of his brother and sister were all correct. However, this was obviously science fiction. Or was it?

 

 

Was this a call to action for him since it obviously was about him. So there was a moment where he thought he was going crazy as the two worlds fought each other for reality---until--- the story talked about his room he was now in and described the placement of the bed, the pictures on the wall exactly like the apartment he was now in. Then it spoke of a particular drawer that George opened and that inside this drawer was a little notebook. And inside this notebook was a code book. So, in real life George opened this drawer and found this code book. And this was the introduction, "George, you are the lead captain of the U.S. Time Cadre, of course you think this is all science fiction, but if it is why does this site online know exactly who you are, when you were born, where you now are and the fact that no one except a computer program knows anything about why you were suddenly sent home?

 

 

This gave George chills all over his body and finally he knew who he was. The code book went on, It said, "Go to this site. print the first page. Now go to that online site. Now print that page. Now go to this third site. Now print that first and second page. Now staple them all together and use this decoder book to find out what you need to know"

 

 

George was getting pretty scared at this point because either he was going crazy, someone was trying to make him crazy, or he was some kind of spy and he hoped it was for the U.S. because that was his country and his loyalty.

 

 

So, as he gathered the pages and stapled them and put them all together he noticed the following: It said, "You now have 10 minutes to decode what you have printed out and to transfer the information by hand onto another sheet of paper before all these pages catch on fire by the staple you just put in these pages."

 

So, using the decoder he quickly decoded the message and it was a series of phone numbers and code words to be uttered to each phone. And this code word or series of words could be left in a phone message, or in  a text or directly to the person. Then George was to wait about 1/2 hour to 1 hour while everyone got used to knowing the other 20% of who they were so they could function as a cadre. They were to meet George at his apartment and they all knew where he would be. George was even more scared as the  phone numbers were his friends and business associates and his girlfriend. So, he began to worry about their safety as well as his own.

 

About 1 hour later several of his friends and business associates arrived. The last to arrive was his girlfriend. She looked especially worried. George realized that Martha likely wasn't her real name and George likely wasn't his real name either at that point. Though they often joked about them being George and Martha like George and Martha Washington, now it was just plain scary in this present context.

 

Martha said she had the runs and George wasn't far behind in this either. They were both almost "scared s---less" literally. So, as the friends all gathered there they said to George. Why are you gathering us all here?

 

George said,"I think we are members of some sort of U.S. super secret Cadre. This is my guess. Martha looked green and said, "No. It's more than that. We are a Time Changing Cadre. We only get called up in a REAL emergency when we have to correct time. She walked over to George's flatscreen TV and said, "For anyone listening if this room is bugged this is our groups play acting class resuming. We're pretty good stuntmen and me as a stunt woman. Look how good we are!" With that she showed videos taken from all sorts of angles of their last operation. They watched in Horror as one of them was shot down and dying with blood coming out of Martha's mouth. We watched her die.  They realized this wasn't an act. Martha had died before. At least this time.

 

George was sick to his stomach. He said, "Martha! You died! How can you be alive?" 

 

Martha seemed psychologically on the edge too. She said, "Look, George. I'm a very religious girl so this is difficult for me too. I was resurrected through time travel. You prevented my death."

 

George said, "I prevented your death?"

 

Martha: "Yes. You went back in time and shot the man who shot me before he shot me and so I lived in the next time sequence."

 

George said, "Time travel isn't possible!"

 

Martha said,"Do you believe your eyes or not?"

 

George said, "I don't know!"

 

Martha said, "If I disappear before your eyes and reappear in another 20 seconds time with my arms around your waist from behind, will you believe me then?"

 

All present looked scared and George bluffing said, "Yes. Then I'll believe you."

 

So, Martha  pushed a button on her belt that they had all wondered about before but had been afraid to ask. Then waited nervously for her to appear 20 seconds later behind George and put her arms around him from behind.

 

When it happened one of their group threw up on the floor and the rest looked kind of green and all including George sat down on a couch, chair or just collapsed on the floor in shock.

 

Martha said, "Do you all believe me now?"

 

George thought about how he always had been intimidated by Martha as she was a highly trained  psychiatrist and because of this was always a little threatened by someone with degrees from both Harvard and Stanford. She was literally a doctor and he just hoped she was real and not playing some strange drug induced game with the group in testing some new therapy medicine or something.

 

The group now huddled in a circle joined in a huddle of sorts. There were 8 of them in all. 7 men and one woman who was a psychiatrist. They sometimes called themselves as friends "7 men and a doctor" and thought it was pretty funny. But right now they weren't laughing at all.

 

George said, "WTF? Everyone. What's going on here?"

 

Ken was to George's left in the huddle and George had his right arm around Martha his girlfriend at this point. Ken said, "I'm the stabilizer here."

 

 

George said, "What?"

 

Ken was an intuitive, a writer, in his life. He didn't work for the government and never would and never did. He said, "I'm the Galactic Liaison to this Galactic sponsored Time Cadre to Earth through the United Nations and in this case through the U.S. Government. There are several of these cadres like us on earth at present."

 

Several of the friends started to laugh nervously. But Martha said, "He's right, everyone. Even though George is the captain of our team, Ken is Galactic Liaison. They are not allowed to be directly a part of any government on earth, so Ken is our observer, so all cultures are treated fairly in the Galaxies eyes.

 

Bill said, "Martha. You've been our friend since we all went to Harvard together as undergrads. But Ken here was with us too. How can he be a Galactic and us not know?"

 

 

Martha said, "It was on a need to know basis, Bill. Ken and I are the only ones here capable of living from our subconscious minds, so we don't ever completely separate from the time cadre completely."

 

 

Bill said, "What if someone gave you a lie detector test?"

 

Martha said, "That's easy. When you live from your subconscious those things don't register the same way on people like Ken and I."

 

Bill said, "Why is that?"

 

Martha said, "Because all truths are relative and they are especially relative if you can live from your subconscious."

 

Bill said, "I don't understand."

 

Martha said, "No one could understand this unless they are an intuitively based person."

Bill said, "So. You're saying that I"m a mentally and not emotionally based person?"

 

Martha said, "No. In your case I would say your mind and emotions are perfectly balanced which is very remarkable. But you were never forced by life experiences or disease to develop certain kinds of instincts and intuitions that make a person intuitively based just out of a need to survive.

 

Bill said, "Oh." But there was a look in his eyes that he was a victim of some very elaborate practical joke. He was really spooked by all this. These were all his very best friends and he hoped this didn't split them all up or result in the death of one of them. He felt sick to his stomach.

 

Martha said, "Sit down, everyone. Everyone just make yourselves comfortable. Have a beer. I'm sure George's fridge is stocked with all your favorite beers, ales and wines.  Just kick back and enjoy the show. Most present went to the fridge for moral support. They eyed each other as they found like Martha had said each of their most favorite beverages. Soon, they were sufficiently numbed to be entertained by all of this. They didn't know that a memory enhancer to bring back all their Time Cadre Memories relevant had been added to their beverages by Martha (as per regular orders under these circumstances).

 

So, as they watched their training as young people under the Swiss Alps  on a DVD played through George's Flatscreen TV of when they traveled there on a Winter Skiing Trip through Harvard on a Christmas break, they watched while they all studied with a man some called Arcane and other called him just "St. Germain", while others called him, "Arcane St. Germain". Whatever they called him they all remembered him as the most unforgettable teacher of this lifetime.

 

Bill said, "Do all Time Cadre Member always come from Harvard?"

 

Martha answered, "No. They come from Stanford and all universities and colleges throughout the U.S. for U.S. Time Cadres. And many nations on earth have their own sponsored by the Galactic Government."

 

Bill said, "Who?"

Martha said, "I know it is at least the G-20 or probably a lot more at this point. People die a lot in this profession so it's good to have replacements, even though we can usually bring back to life most that die in many circumstances, as long as their deaths aren't too public. And even then with plastic surgery we can give them a new life even if they were supposed to have died."

 

Bill just looked at Martha and wished this all were a dream.

After the 2 hour video was over several of the group had had one or more ales or beers or glasses of wine and were better able for some reason to cope with living real science fiction here in their lives.

Bill started. He said, "Remember when you died? Wow. That was really close. I remember you dying there and the look on George's face. Even though I knew theoretically we could bring you back to life I had never seen it done so I just fell apart and blew away everyone present with my grenade launcher." He smiled at this.

 

Ken always the cultural relativist said, "Yes. You were hired Bill because of your excellent battle reflexes and never say die attitude. However, I had to bring those 5 back to life after you blew them into pieces with that grenade launcher. Did you know that?"

 

Bill held his tongue feeling an odd relief somehow. His anger at the moment had been very real and revenge then was on his mind. But now, somehow he was very relieved that most he had blown up had been brought back to life that weren't planning further nuclear blasts anyway. However, he imagined that Martha the Psychiatrist had worked those guys over with wonder drugs even after we brought them back to life to re-orient them, so to speak to move in another direction away from nuking millions out of existence. He smiled as he saw the symmetry of this thought.

As Martha put on the last DVD Ken motioned to Martha to meet him in another room. Since the general state of the 6 men left in the living room watching an operations Dvd of videos of previous operations, the mood of the room would be categorized as "completely blown out" as the 6 male friends watched their "normal" versions of reality be completely upended by harsh reality.

Martha whispered to Ken in the hallway, "What is it?" 

Ken said, "Why didn't you tell me that you were Elohar and Ragna's daughter?"

Martha turned red and said, "Because it was on a need to know basis."

Ken said, "That wasn't wise because you cannot be permanently missed from the other time line in the 7000s. There would be terrible consequences to that!"

Martha said, "Oh. Why?"

Ken said, "You eventually take George to live with you to your home time line and have children with George there."

Martha smiled. She liked this outcome.

Ken said, "By not telling me you were from another time line we might have let you die one of these times on assignment if it was too public to save you. That would have been a disaster for the other time line."

Martha finally connected all the dots. She finally said, "I'm sorry, Ken. I wasn't thinking Galactic and multiple time line about all this. It was very 21st century Earth of me." Her Blue eyes burned up into Ken's. He felt he could not be angry at her at this point. He put his arm around her like a sister. He had been friends with her father and mother now for 200 years in real time. He felt like Martha's uncle in real life at this point. Since Ken hadn't seen Martha since she was 10 or 11 and was sent off to school on the other time line he hadn't recognized her until now. But there was always something very familiar about her. Today he finally had put it all together.

The History:

Martha and Ken are full time time travelers. They never forget who they are. Ken doesn't forget because he works for the Galactic Government through the United Nations as a Liaison to the Galactic Time Guard and authorized by the United Nations when it was first formed after World War II. Presently all people who originally signed this agreement have all passed away. However, this program between the Galactic Government and the United Nations goes on anyway. So, even though Ken doesn't wear time traveling devices all the time like Martha does, he doesn't need to. For he is a Galactic Citizen and due all the protections and rights that all Galactic Citizens have (at least while traveling or living in this Galaxy).

Second, Martha comprises  the only member of the Office of the Liaison of the Two Time Lines which is always in communication with Ken. She also wears an amethyst on a golden ring which is an emergency button that will take her instantaneously to her  home time in the 1st time line. While she is in public she also wears a time belt. When the button is pushed it can be programmed to move her a few feet and a few moments or minutes in time or it can be programmed to place her on the other side of the planet in the same or different time or on either of the two Earth time lines instantaneously.  We saw her do this already to George and the group once. She never loses her consciousness concerning the two time lines, her group, or the Galactic Government. Only she and Ken (since they are not from the 2nd time line are allowed to be aware of the Time Cadre and its members all the time. George, Bill and the other 4 men ONLY are aware of the cadre's existence and of who they are while conducting a mission. Then they are slipped amnesiacs while celebrating as the 8 members of the Cadre. This is according to Galactic Rules. All of the G-20 and beyond Time Cadres function in this way on earth at this time.

20 Below?

Last night it was predicted that temperatures in the northern mountain communities of California could reach 20 below zero Fahrenheit. When I lived in the little town of Mt. Shasta around 1990 it did reach 17 below zero. I remember that the old 1925 house we then lived then wasn't insulated yet and I had to stay up all night long stoking the wood stove just to keep the inside of the house above freezing that night. We opened our cold water faucets enough to keep the water running so they didn't freeze. But I didn't think to shut off the hot water heater so I could open the hot water taps a little too and the hot water to the washing machine froze and broke and made part of the under the house area a natural ice sculpture. So before I could use any water in the house I had to crawl under the house the next morning in about zero degrees temperature Fahrenheit, find out what fitting needed to be replaced. Take the broken piece to the hardware store, get a replacement, install it before using water for anything in the house. This experience led to getting our landlords to let me insulate the wonderful very old house on an acre of land with about 25 bearing fruit trees of Black Cherries, Black Walnuts, Apple, Pear trees and a great organic garden in the spring and summer. So, within one month of thinking we might freeze to death in that house and freezing our hot water pipe to the washing machine I installed full 6 inch fiberglass insulation throughout the attic and bought a thick wool carpet for the living room. We were toasty all winter long after that even with 3 feet of snow in our yard outside!

1st note regarding replacing broken pipes. First of all if you are trying to replace pipes at zero degrees Fahrenheit you must be careful of your lungs. I find that especially if the air is moist(high humidity) that it hurts to breathe often below about 20 degrees Fahrenheit if you aren't used to breathing more shallow breaths to avoid lung pain. Second if you aren't used to crawling under a house (which is usually where the pipes tend to break (or they could be non-wrapped spigots that you attach your garden hose to for outside watering), you must be very careful. Because if you have a breathing or other problem under there people may not be able to get you out without dismantling the house. By then you could be dead. So, just going under a house at that temperature is a hazard potentially to your life unless you are young and well qualified through experience for this job. So, I had a friend come over to spot me under the house in case I had problems at that temperature so he could grab me by the leg and maybe tie a rope to me to drag me out if there were any problems. Also, unless you understand plumbing fittings to some degree or know what you are looking for this can be problematic. But a good sign (at that temperature) is a little ice sculpture under the house at that temperature. Then because it is so cold you might need a large wrench or hammer to break away the ice. I suppose under really difficult conditions you could get a hand blow torch to melt away the ice. But before you do any of this make sure you shut off all the water to the house and drain all the pipes as best as you can so you don't get water dropping on you and freezing on your gloves or hands at this temperature. Also, gloves are necessary based upon the principle of not putting your tongue on a metal post at this temperature. Just the moisture of your hand might stick your fingers to something metal at zero degrees Fahrenheit. So you need thin (or thick) gloves to avoid this sticking hazard. Also, since you can't move around much under a house usually, you will have to wear a minimum of thick warm clothes. I wore a down vest, flannel shirt, undershirt, jeans and boots under my coveralls to stay warm enough but just barely and a wool hat under the house with leather gloves to keep my hands from sticking from sticking to the pipes. And I took with me and adjustable pipe wrench and channel locks. I also took a Framing hammer to break away all the ice so I could work. And then I also took a blow torch to melt away the ice in the broken pipe and fittings that I had to replace. So, this all took about 3 hours from the time I went under the house to crawling out and going out to an open hardware store, buying new fittings and then returning and installing the fittings and then testing the fittings by turning the water to the house back on and venting all the air out of the system and replacing the air with water. Also, when you turn off the water to your house the first thing you have to do before you drain your pipes is to turn off the hot water heater. If you don't do this your heater may burn out and you might destroy your hot water heater and have to replace it. So then, after you have turned off the water, turn  off the hot water heater, and then replace your pipe fittings you then do the reverse. You turn on your water to the house, vent all the air out of the pipes and lastly after you have checked to see there are no other leaks anywhere, you turn back on your hot water heater and you are usually good to go from then on.

 2nd Note regarding trying to insulate your attic: To those of you who haven't spent time in an attic ever: If you want to install insulation first of all you have to be strong, coordinated and wear a mask and goggles and have good lighting and gloves. Coveralls with gloves, a good breathing mask and goggles are necessary if you don't want breathing problems or eye problems or skin problems later after installing fiberglass insulation. Next, you will need either a good ladder to reach the entrance to the attic unless you have fold down stairs or ladder for this purpose already installed.  Also, if it is a really old house remove sawdust or wood chips from the attic first like I did because these are a fire hazard. In fact, when I went up in the attic I could see there had been a fire in the house in the attic some time between 1925 and then 1990 winter because some of the cross pieces supporting the roof were slightly charred. The next thing you need to know is that the only thing that can hold your weight without falling through the ceiling are 2 by 4 ceiling or roof joists or bigger. So, kind of like a tightrope walker you have to only put your weight upon those 2 by 4 inch roof or ceiling joist or bigger pieces of wood. If you are using fiberglass it is not only a heat insulator it is also an natural electrical insulator. But the paper that lines the back of the insulation could be a fire hazard if there are exposed metal electrical wires, so that is something to think about. Also, don't cover any venting places in the attic with insulation or that could create mold or moisture problems for the house. But generally, if you protect yourself from the insulation by wearing goggles, gloves, a mask and coveralls, you can minimize any discomfort to your eyes, or skin on your arms or lungs from exposure to little bits of spun fiberglass in the air or directly to your skin.

And after you have insulated your attic you can be happy in all the money you saved by doing it yourself. However, remember don't attempt this unless you are coordinated enough to get up a ladder and down it safely and can stay just walking on the roof or ceiling joists while you are up there. Good Luck!

By the way, it can be much less stressful and frustrating if you have 1 or more people helping you. However, make sure they are also mature enough to do this without injury. I took my then 15 year old son into the attic with me and he was fine helping me then as long as I kept reminding him to keep his mask on and goggles on even when they started to fog from his breath from wearing a mask. I also had my wife down where the ladder was handing up full rolls of insulation to my son and I. Then I put the insulation in and stapled it with a staple gun to the tops of the 2 by 4 roof or ceiling joists on the foldout flaps on the insulation for this purpose.

It also helps to measure the distance between 2 by 4 roof or ceiling joists so you can buy the right width of insulation to begin with for your specific attic. Planning also is important in this sense. And the thickness of insulation depends upon how cold it actually gets or could potentially get where you live during the winter. The colder it gets in the winter where you live the thicker the grade of insulation you want to install. Good Luck and be careful if you attempt this. Good planning tends to make this job much safer.

Also, if your attic is vented insulating above you on the underside of the roof isn't useful at all in most cases. The only insulation that would be helpful is by insulating directly in the channels below where you are walking upon in the  attic.

The problem with methane is that this methane is leaking upward into the upper atmosphere at such and incredible rate now that it is preventing the formation of Ozone or O1 and instead creating water vapor H20. This is a real problem because this affects the eyesight of all creatures of earth who can't for one reason or another get out of direct sunlight during the day or into a cave or under a tree to prevent eye damage. Even humans now should wear sunglasses most places on earth just to prevent eye damage and trees and plants are also being damaged worldwide as the ozone continues to deplete. Another source of methane creating water vapor in the upper atmosphere was the Gulf Oil Spill where an unbelievable amount of methane went up into the sky from that ongoing spill for months but it still doesn't compare to he melting Siberian, Canadian and Alaskan permafrost dumping incredible amounts of methane up into the atmosphere every day most of  every year now because of Global Climate Change.

Even Saturday night did a skit on it advertising the "Adult"  side of it for lonely people who want to be "Felt up". This thing is only going to get worse from here out. That is a given to where many many people will decide not to fly if they have any other choice at all. This won't be good for airline business now or in the future until this ends.

Even Hillary Clinton when asked about it said something like "I wouldn't like it and would do anything to avoid this experience. Wouldn't you?"

So, even the Secretary of State recognizes the full pain and invasion of not only privacy but of human decency. If someone wanted to end people traveling on Air lines making these kinds of searches would be a good way to do it. If someone wanted to put Air Lines out of business this would also be a good way to do it because people just won't put up with it at all.

Isn't there something in the Bill of Rights about Unreasonable Search? Also, unless we are living under martial law during an emergency something like Hurricane Katrina can something like this invasive type of search actually stand up legally if challenged in court?

Tigers in Wild extinct in 12 years

Tigers could be extinct in 12 years if unprotected

Because of poachers everywhere in Wild Tiger habitats and preserves and because of the absolutely terrible state of the world's present economy it makes perfect sense to me that Wild Tigers will likely be gone within 12 years. I wonder how long it will be before wild lions are gone too?

Captive Breeding programs will be the last tigers on earth so no one will be able to see Tigers in the wild anymore except in artificial Wild Animal parks and zoos around the world after that.
