The problem of the Trump Approach to North Korea and China in these times

Trump wrote a book called:
  1. Trump: The Art of the Deal - Wikipedia

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump:_The_Art_of_the_Deal<...
The Art of the Deal; Author: Donald Trump (credited) Tony Schwartz: Country: United States: Language: English: Genre: Business: Publisher: Random House

I have not read this book but assuming from what Trump has done already he mostly is into "ONE DEAL AT A TIME".

However, in China he is dealing with a nation that has existed as an ongoing civilization for 3000 to 6000 years depending upon your point of view. So, in some ways he is dealing with "The Art of War" by Sun TSU which is something you should read sometime if you are inclined.

If you see each deal in this 3000 to 6000 year civilization as a chess move on a board and not as a deal in itself you better understand China's "Long View" as opposed to the U.S. "Short view" which is usually between 4 and 8 years of each presidency.

If you think in the long view like China and likely North Korea are thinking, you are not just into this first deal Trump is trying to make with North Korea and China, you are looking at the next 100 to 1000 years which would be how they would think in all this.

So, any victory in any deal is short lived when seeing all this as a 100 or 1000 year chess game which would be more like how China and North Korea would view all this.

So, any deal is ONLY one move on a 100 or 1000 year chess board of moves.
