What Trump and a mob boss have in common is that they never tell the truth about anything to anyone ever. They don't tell the truth to their families, they don't tell the truth to their employees. They don't ever tell the truth to the world. And if anyone catches them in a lie they just double down on the lie. This is how Warlords and Mob Bosses function the world around.
In this sense there is no real difference between Trump and a Mafia Mob boss.
This also explains why Cohen taped Trump in so many different situations, because he never knew when things might go sideways while working for someone like Trump. So, he recorded these conversations to keep himself and his family alive no matter what. So, Cohen likely has tapes of all his phone conversations with Trump and now the Government has these tapes too.
