I remember in college taking a business law course where a man had set up a shotgun booby trap to protect his barn . So, when a man broke into his barn the shotgun blew the man's legs off. Then the farmer had to financially support the man the rest of his life because he had no legs. So, whether you are a farmer trying to protect your barn or house or a man trying to protect your home from squirrels which blew the man's arm off you can see how ineffective and counterproductive this can be.
As you can see setting up shotguns in booby traps can easily maim or kill or injure the person setting the trap.
Mostly I think shotgun booby traps are sort of like playing Russian Roulette in the first place any way you look at them. But, people keep doing stuff like this and wonder why their arm or the legs of someone are blown off? etc.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
