But, the other problem I'm also having is that typing is causing my thumbs harm through some form of carpal tunnel to where I'm noticing my thumbs aren't working quite right because of the pain now like when I pick up my Macbook pro laptop and things like this. I have never had to deal with any carpal tunnel symptoms like this and then again it could also be some form of tendonitis from building homes so much in my 20s and 30s, for example. I have always had some pain in my hands from lifting heavy objects, using hammers and saws and rock climbing and surfing and skiing since I have been about 32 also. So, it could also be related to being very active all my life mountain climbing, hiking, building, swimming, jogging, skiing, riding off road motorcycles etc. and flying planes and gliders and hang gliding and things like this.
However, now at age 71 this is becoming more of a problem that I will simply have to adapt to to find a better way forward I guess.
Because at every single point in life it is: "Adapt or die!"
This is just life living in a body here on planet earth and always has been and always likely will be!
Note: I do have an ergonomic keyboard by the way. But, the last time I used it I forgot to turn it off and now it doesn't believe it has batteries that are working even though I changed them. So, my wife says we need to get a new ergonomic keyboard for me to use for blogging and research.
Siri likely works better than older methods I have used like "Dragon naturally speaking" but I used that years ago now and likely it is probably as good as Siri is too if they still sell it.
Here's the latest versions of "Dragon naturally speaking by the way". I'm not sure if it is any good or not because I haven't had a version of this for several years now. But, likely if you read reviews you might find out what people using it think.
