Propaganda only Brings Death

Propaganda only Brings Death.Propaganda is sometimes defined as:a concerted set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of large amounts of people.

Once propaganda might have been useful to the survival of mankind by rallying people to a war that was needed to protect them from being overrun by an invading force. However, this purpose is seldom the present day purpose that propaganda is still used for.

Today there really are only three kinds of propaganda. National propaganda, Military Industrial Corporate Propaganda and Consumer Corporate Propaganda.

We only see classical Nationalistic Propaganda in China and Russia and maybe North Korea and Iran now. (However, Venezuela with Chavez is getting there pretty quick)

The more common types in the free world now are Consumer Corporate Propaganda and Military Corporate Propaganda. America's national propaganda system was superseded by the other two when the Soviet Union collapsed in the late 80's.

As what I call consumer Corporations bought up and bribed people to consolidate American Media under just a few corporate moguls something was lost: Reality!

As media reality was completely lost it was replaced with:whatever manipulates people into doing what consumer corporations want. What was lost was information given to the people regarding what will actually keep them alive!

There has never been a time when such insidious and destructive lies are told to the American people that they may not survive as a nation as now! I do not believe that the Subprime debacle could have happened in America before the collapse of the old Soviet Union. The American National Newsmen and women would have prevented it. However, with only corporate propaganda replacing those conscientious newspeople of old there is NOTHING to protect the Average US citizen by giving them the truth.

Freedom of the press is necessary for a free nation. We no longer actually have freedom of the press. I would say only 5% or 10% of American media is actually free. Even when I go out on the internet many free sources of information I'm watching dry up only to be replaced with corporate propaganda sources. And corporate propaganda sources I don't ever expect truth from. Even if it is the truth it will be twisted by such a site to the point where the usefulness for my survival or the survival of anyone is completely eliminated.

When did money become the only basis of media? When did we lose sight of human potential and human survival?
