'Humiliated': Female passenger subjected to patdown 'because her sanitary ...
To Read news article click "Humiliated: Female passenger" above.
More and more people are being humiliated in extreme ways when they fly. In the article above a ladies "Sanitary Towel" for her time of the month was picked up by a scanner and she was forced to have a pat down which brought back her memories of a sexual assault in her past.
In other situations there was a man who had a urostomy bag full of Urine. When the TSA forced the pat down to find out what it was and the man and the floor were covered with pee. I myself know someone who has a colostomy bag (feces bag) from having his lower intestines disconnected because of illness. This man no longer flies because that would be even worse than urine or a sanitary towel for a lady.
Until passengers real needs and feelings are addressed in meaningful ways, Scanners that bring potential Skin Cancer, or pornographic pat downs only lessen the number of citizens who will choose to fly on airlines ever more and more each and every day. It is definitely a no-win scenario for the airlines to loose 20% or more of their paying customers through all this.
