Olympic National Park and Alpine wild Flowers

In Alpine areas spring for many places is in the summer when the flowers come out. So, as you will see here in the Olympic National Park near Port Angeles, Washington. If you head up S. Race Street to where it becomes Hurricane Ridge and drive for about 1 hour eventually you will see the snow capped mountains if it is a clear day this year and it hasn't melted off yet. (I don't know if it does before winter or not) or whether they are year around glaciers this far north.

is the way it looks right now as of August 4th when my wife and I drove up here.
It is an amazing place to visit just to see this and is about 40 minutes to an hour up on S. Race up to Hurricane Ridge and into the National Park.
