The presently unsolvable Fukushima Radiation problem

I was talking to my dentist whose American daughter got Thyroid Cancer from teaching English near Tokyo a few years ago after the Fukushima disaster. I think we don't hear much about people getting cancer in Japan because so many people died and got cancer after Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II and it wasn't reported then much either. Since hundreds of thousands of people died then (fast or slow) there is a different philosophy in Japan culturally about all this than we would find in the U.S.

So basically, I would call what has happened at Fukushima presently a World Wide Nuclear cover up by all nations. The reason they must cover this up is that there are presently nuclear power plants on rivers and oceans around the world that are over 50 years old.

It is important for you to know that absolutely NO nuclear power plant was ever designed to last over 50 years and some now are likely almost 75 years old. It would be like in the late 1980s expecting a Model T Ford Car built from (1908 to May 27, 1927) to be still running in perfect condition without major repairs (it just isn't going to happen).

So, what I would recommend to people all over the world is to test the ocean waters along the coasts where there are old nuclear power plants to test for radiation leakage. And also with your own privately owned geiger Counters test water in rivers downstream from all nuclear power plants over 50 years old worldwide. Only then can you know what is really going on. Because governments have no desire to tell you for a variety of reasons (even the U.S. Government).

In this way at least you can tell your friends if you feel they need to move to protect their families from potential radiation poisoning if they are drinking that river water or using it to cook with or wash their bodies with worldwide.

My dentist also told me that many of the fish around Hawaii are considered to dangerous to eat radiation wise.

So, what we are talking about more now is that the Ocean Currents from Fukushima are now bringing serious radiation all the way across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii and California.

Why is this happening?

The problem is what happens in a meltdown. In a meltdown the radiation often goes through the cement and metal flooring into the ground by being so hot it melts through cement or metal and goes down into the earth and into the water tables. Once it does this there is nothing humans can do to prevent it getting into water tables whether that is into a river or an ocean(both) in the case of Fukushima Nuclear power plant. Actually what is happening is it is in the ground water which leaches and flows underground then into the ocean. This then radiates local fish which are eaten by tuna, porpoises and other long distance top of food chain fish like Sharks. And these tuna, porpoises and sharks often range thousands of miles across the Pacific and even into other oceans during the course of  any one year.

So, the dirty little secret of Fukushima is that radiation is going to leak into the water tables and into the ocean for the next 25,000 years and pollute the whole Pacific Ocean ongoing with radiation (and indirectly all oceans) and make fish in the Pacific Ocean inedible eventually (unless you want to glow in the dark and be genetically altered along with all of your descendents).

And there is nothing humans have yet designed to prevent this from happening that has ever been designed up to now. And this is also true of all nuclear power plants properly built over 50 years old now too on earth located on rivers and oceans.

However, for radiation that hasn't melted down through the cement and metal into the earth (and this sometimes just keeps melting down through the crust and into the mantle and into the core of the earth during meltdowns. So, if it did this there is no way to actually stop it or recover it in any way.

However, one way to look at this is the core of the earth might be the safest place for all radiated materials in the end and more cost efficient than sending it into space.

However, in the over 50 year old nuclear power plants located on rivers and oceans for cooling, the problem might just be water leaking from corroded  pipes for now. One way power plants would know there are leaks is if they keep having to add distilled water all the time to the cooling systems. Because in those close circuit cooling systems they shouldn't need to add distilled water unless it is leaking out somewhere over time. IF it is leaking out it is contaminating rivers both above and below ground and or the ocean which all rivers eventually tend to flow into.
