It's a Miracle that Anyone Grows up

It's coming now for me within three years (my age) of when my father passed on at age 69. And I think the best way to put this is from my point of view is that it is a miracle that ANYONE actually lives to grow up.

Grown up age wise I would say is about 30. Most people say you are grown up at 18 or 21 but to me that is when  you start to (Experiment with growing up) and statistically kids who don't graduate college until 22 to 25 are only emotionally about the same as any other 18 year old who just graduated high school that doesn't plan to go to college. So, even though you will tend to go further in life with a college degree usually you are only about emotionally like your compatriots were at 18 starting out and hitting the world and having to figure out a way to survive there.

I kind of see it in this way: Either people have physical problems (illnesses that they barely survive growing up) or (they have parents that abuse them physically or in other ways) or (they are rich, have good parents and are spoiled by them, and go to the best schools where no one beats them up and there are no consequences and so between 18 and 25 they often self destruct from drugs, bad relationships, crashing their cars or doing other crazy things. Because they have never had a useful physical consequence to anything they have ever done in their lives.

So, because of all these things and more it is a miracle that anyone survives to even be 30. And then you are faced with your children being faced with some or all of the things I'm writing about here too.

It is a miracle that you or I are still alive at any age given the true nature of life on earth.
