LIkely a mess from Rohnert Park north to Vancouver, Canada pretty much

I'm looking at the weather map and especially Northern California possibly Portland up to Seattle looks to be a mess with likely flash flooding because of the amount of rain coming down per hour right now on already soaked ground. So, likely the ground can't take any more so it is mostly going to run off now and just do damage pretty much except for dams collecting a lot of water in Washington, Oregon and Northern California. The altitude changes we have in Washington, Oregon and California are extreme from around 14,000 feet in all three states down to sea level. So, when this much rain and snow comes down, (mostly rain), it is really going to do some damage when the ground has already soaked up all it can for now. Even where I live in the forests there are already 2 foot deep new ruts in dirt fire roads cleared for potential fire engines in emergencies where I walk with my dogs because the ground has taken all the water it can hold for now.

And this is before the 40 mph winds along with rains that  are supposed to hit here tomorrow on Thursday. Hopefully, the wet soil combined with 40mph winds won't bring a lot of trees down on Thursday and Friday. I think even here we are supposed to get 1 to 2 inches but north of San Francisco and inland from Eureka are supposed to get 5 to 8 inches of rain in this storm.
