My friend just called me to tell me they expect 5 to 8 inches of rain and 6 feet of snow on Mt. Shasta from this storm. I pulled up KSBW weather radar and it looks bad from Rohnert park north to the Oregon border right now. And it is moving inland. So, likely there will be flash floods where it rains and hopefully people won't be snowed in at higher altitudes because 6 feet of snow can kill people backpacking who aren't prepared for this various places now. Or older people who aren't listening to the news who haven't prepared enough food, wood or clean water for their houses or cabins throughout this area if roads are washed out or they are snowed in throughout northern California coast and inland.
He also said he expects 110 mile per hour winds where he lives which will bring down trees for sure just like it would if that happened here on the coast where I live. Here we expect 40 mile per hour winds so we had a 3 foot through tree taken down so it didn't knock down the power lines which has been dead for about 2 years or more on our property or go into a neighbors house. Luckily, our permission to take it down arrived day before yesterday from the county so won't now be liable for any damage if it came down. They haven't cleaned up the mess yet but that won't be a problem in the winds likely.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
