I think Global Warming and Climate Change are causing financial problems

When I look at countries like China I think people must be very depressed because of ecological degradation, especially in places like Beijing where often you can't even see the sun because the pollution is so very bad there (even if there are no clouds at all). China has paid a terrible price for progress much the same as Russia did under the old Soviet Union where large rivers are so polluted that trying to swim in them might cause someone to die within  10 to 20 years or less time than that.

So, the ecological degradation has a cost on the state of mind and optimism of the Chinese people just like it has reduced the lifespan of the average Russian man down to around 55 to 57 generally speaking.

So, my point of view is when there is no democracy where people can demonstrate to not get polluted to death like they are being done to in China, you are going to have thousands to millions of people like in China dying of this pollution and this cannot but help change the attitude of millions of Chinese even if their wishes are stifled by the Government at every single point. So, this also affects what happens in a stock market too to some degree on top of the speculation that also might cause an even deeper collapse of the Chinese stock market in the future.

However, it is also possible that the Chinese government might find some Draconian way to stop the hemorrhaging too.

But, beyond all that the droughts in California and the western United States and the monsoons not coming to India north to South Korea and Maybe to Japan are also having a devastating effect on the world economy too. As food prices rise because food not only cannot be raised in California but also not as well from  India up to Japan food prices cannot help to rise exponentially. As this happens more poor people are going to freak out not being able to eat worldwide and this will only further destabilize all the 50% poorest governments in the world in a variety of ways.
