Recycling Grey Water

After you use water in your home, apartment or office etc.  it goes either down the sink or toilet. If it goes down the toilet that is called "Blackwater".

However, if it goes down a sink down the drain that is called Grey Water. And Grey water can be recycled depending upon what was put into the grey water. That is what is important here. What did you put in the grey water and will that affect any plants you put it on to save.

Since the last article I wrote about this I realized the best way to save Grey Water would be to run a hose from under your sink down to a collection bin outside likely (if it isn't freezing out at the time). And then either through gravity feed (depending upon the location and height of this tank) you can send to to where you want to in your yard via a hose through gravity feed.

So, obviously it isn't safe for most people to recycle Black water so please don't try to do this.

But, grey water might keep your plants alive that otherwise might die in the present or future drought here in the western United States.

I also was thinking if this drought gets much worse you are going to see people buying advanced filtration units and recycling their grey water and using it indoors as well by filtering it enough so it would be safe to wash dishes or clothes with for example or even wash hands with but probably not enough to eat or cook with.

So, I could envision a time when people recycled 90% of their grey water and collected all rain water off their roofs for future use as well. This is likely in the future of most people on earth the way global warming is presently going.

For example, the people dying in India and Pakistan are dying because there is too much humidity but no rain so you wind up with temperatures with a heat index of up to 141 degrees Fahrenheit which is from combining the temperature and the humidity to get the actual affect on a human body without ice or air conditioning.

So, the monsoon rains it appears haven't showed up yet from India on up to South Korea so far this summer. And people in India and Pakistan are dying from the monsoons not coming on time.
