They were all found to be associating with known Russian Spies or Russian operatives during Campaign. And not only British Government found this but also German Government, Polish government and multiple European Governments found this as well. etc. etc. etc.
They were all surprised at this because this was incidental to just normal following of Russian Spies for Russia by all these governments ongoing.
