Polyandry (one wife and several husband) is a remarkable birth control method for Tibet. (usually it was all the brothers of one family married to a girl of another family.)
Next, because they live mostly above 8000 feet in elevation things like Barley must be grown because wheat cannot grow at that altitude.
So, physically they are a very hearty people because if everyone you know lives above 8000 feet everyone weak has already died in past centuries living 8000 to 15000 feet in altitude.
Next, their religion, Tibetan Buddhism is a combination of Bon (in some ways like Native American religions combined with Buddhism from India. This happened during the time of King Trisongdetsun.
Trisong Detsen - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trisong_Detsen
Trisong Detsen or Trisong Detsän was the son of Me Agtsom and the 37th emperor of Tibet. He ruled from 755 until 797 or 804 CE. Trisong Detsen was the second of the Three Dharma Kings of Tibet, playing ...
During this time Padmasambhava from Nalanda University (near Bodhgaya) I have also been to these ruins became a Mahasiddha and brought Tibetan Buddhism from there to Lhasa to King Trisong Detsun who made this the state religion combined with Bon.
So, I found all these things and many more gave the Tibetan people's culture a lot of power in the help it could give mankind of today in whatever challenges we face into the near and far future of Ice Ages, Global Warming etc.
Also, I presently believe that Merlin the Magician of England and King Arthur is an older version of the young Padmasambhava who took Buddhism from Nalanda University as a Mahasiddha to Tibet.
At some point when he was older Padmasambhava I believe returned to England where he was from and became Merlin or always was called that there.
Why do I believe this?
Because Saint Germain's previous incarnation (one of them was as Merlin) and when I asked if Padmasambhava and Saint Germain were the same soul in Rewalsar (Tsopema) A purple rain and purple lightning storm began after I placed my foot in his melted footprints in the rocks above the lake of Rewalsar there. So, this is how both Saint Germain and Padmasambhava answered me.
I also believe now that Mila Repa and Saint Francis of Asisi were also incarnations of Saint Germain and Padmasambhava from all the signs so far.
However, my ex-wife and I divorced in 1994 before we became research anthropologists together and my life moved in a different direction after that (By God's Grace).
LIfe is a constant miracle and for me I have lived 100 lifetimes in this one so far. For me, the problem becomes "Can I deal with all the PTSD of various things in my life so far and turn all this into enlightenment?"
The answer so far is "Yes!"
Because if Saint Francis of Asisi can turn war PTSD into Saint hood and Mila Repa can turn murdering people supernaturally into becoming the most beloved Tibetan Saint of all there in Tibet, then there is hope for all of us becoming enlightened in one lifetime.
By God's Grace
