There is a 50 50 chance of a "short Term" ice age during the next 100 years time

Why?

Because we have entered a new phase of Global Warming. It is pretty obvious to everyone not blinded by making millions of dollars while destroying the lives of millions here on earth. For example, the Hurricanes in the East and Fires in the West are like none we have ever seen before.

This is an indication of changes we have never seen before to come now.

When is the most likely time we will see a short term ice age?

My thought is that it could come between 2030 and 2060.

Why during that time period?

Because of the Maunder Minimum when the sun goes to sleep at least until 2060 or 2070 with little or not sunspots and decreased solar activity on the sun.

What happened the last time this occurred on earth?

The Little Ice Age

Little Ice Age - Wikipedia

During the period 1645–1715, in the middle of the Little Ice Age, there was a period of low solar activity known as the Maunder Minimum. The Spörer Minimum has also been identified with a significant cooling period between 1460 and 1550.

Analysis: How well have climate models projected global warming? ... Scientists have examined several important strands of evidence about the LIA, including the activity of the sun, of volcanoes, and ocean heat circulation, principle drivers of natural climate change.

What could a little ice age look like?

It would appear that snow and ice would return temporarily to mountain ranges and higher towns like Lima, Peru and Lhasa, Tibet might have to be abandoned as well as smaller villages temporarily at least.

It could be more serious than that with 10 feet of snow year around across the Great Plains states to the Atlantic Ocean starting with the Sierra Nevada Mountains with 5 feet of snow through the summers across places like Nevada, Northern Arizona, Northern New Mexico, Northern Texas and north all the way up into Canada and beyond.

This likely would begin to melt off around 2070 if this occurs.

This perspective comes from logic, scientific research and intuition combined.

However, just like a hurricane warning a year or more in advance or a fire warning in California a year i in advance it should be suspect but also know it could actually happen too.

So, when there is a 50-50 chance something could actually happen it might be important to make contingency plans for your families if it actually happens then or later.

However, within 10,000 years it moves up to a 70% to 80% chance of 10 foot to 100 foot or higher snow year around across the GReat Plains year around and more in the mountains and less in the deserts from about the Mexico border north to the north pole. This also includes everything north of Rome in snow and everything north of Thailand in snow 50 to 100 feet deep.

So, by being the human beings we are and overpopulating the earth it is likely we will be reduce at least by 90% population or more during this time period.

One of the most important things to learn from this is to not lose technology like the other times we as humans have lost it through ignorance during 100,000 year or more ice ages or Atlantis or Mu Sinking.

So, preparing with technology that can survive an ice age will be important in the short and long run. Preparing our governments for the stress of ice ages (short or long) will also be important with agreements with governments in areas not under 100 feet or more ice in the long term.

However, we have also learned a lot about how to survive in Antarctica long term which might be important during these times too starting with 2030 to 2070 if it happens that way if the deserts and plains are under 5 to 10 feet or more snow for 20 to 50 years or more.

I'm still not sure of the dynamics of this in relation to the oceans, however. This hasn't been adequately explained to me to my satisfaction either through science or intuition.

So, as the landed areas get colder and colder from too much cloud cover and precipitation the seas also might continue to heat up and cause various fish to move further and further north for their survival. For example, sea snakes usually seen only from Mexico south which are small and green and extremely poisonous have now been seen as far north as Santa Barbara, California.

And things in the oceans like coral and plants likely will mostly die as the seas heat up more and more.
